Kathleeen was the featured artist at "An Enchanted Eden", Quail Botanical Gardens' annual gala event for 2001. Her painting "Heliconia Forest"was the theme artwork for the event and was used on the program, and the invitations for the event.

Kathleen's original watercolor "Heliconia Forest" was presented to renowned garden writer, Pat Welch, for her lifetime achievement in Southern California gardening and horticulture.

Kathleen gave a demonstration of her work on the deck overlooking the waterfall, while attendees strolled through the gardens.
